Thank you for visiting Big Pile of Dog Shirts!  I'm Mikel (pronounced Michael) and these are my dogs.

Some of you may recognize us from Helping Udders.   While I no longer own Helping Udders, I'm still very involved in a consulting/ customer service capacity - and of course still make the tugs.

I hope that Big Pile of Dog Shirts also gains your support and that you will let your favorite rescue know about us so that you can support them with your t-shirt purchases.

I design most of the t-shirts myself - and make them all one by one.  I'm also open to ideas (within my artistic abilities, that is).

Please don't hesitate to call or email if you have questions, need help finding a design, or if you need something special.

But, be prepared to talk about  your dog!

Left to Right:
Petey was the awesome little dog that actually got Helping Udders started.  He jumped in my son's car one night and came to live with us for the next 9 years.  He was my first agility partner and stole everyone's heart who ever met him.  Petey is gone now (I didn't have the heart to tell people when it happened), and will be missed for a very long time.

Sarah was adopted from the Kansas Humane Society as a 4mo old puppy.  In April 2010, she became one of the country's first mixed breed dogs to earn an AKC Agility title. Traditionally, only pure breed dogs have been allowed to compete in AKC events.  She is big and sweet and loves to be outside.

Cissy came to me through the trash man who knew I was the Boston Terrier Lady in town.  He had found her running loose on a below-freezing day in January.  She was skinny, intact, and had a bad flea infection (yep, I said January). She's been part of the family for close to 4 years now and is our little party girl.

Tony is always at my side.  I've never been closer to a dog and the things he made possible for me through agility have been some of the happiest moments of my life.

But there were also struggles.  He nearly lost an eye to a cat just months after he started competing and then there were my handling skills to contend with (I've never been good at sports).

Despite the challenges, Tony earned his AKC Master Agility Champion title in 2010 and competed at the AKC National Championships in Tulsa that same year.

Tony's has worked so hard for me all these years, both on and off the agility course.  He's my once in a life-time dog.
